Revamped!
Yay, just finished my new layout! Felt so accomplished.. haha. I guess this is the sweetest it can get, since I totally HATE pink so I'll never ever use that color anywhere on my blog. Alrite, off to bed now.. =)

时光机

Mayday's new album「後。青春期的詩」wasn't released on the 23rd in SG as expected. Anyway, my copy of their 4th album「时光机」arrived by post that day. Happy ^^ Got it second-hand from ebay 'cause it's out of stock everywhere, luckily it's still in pretty good condition.
Quite glad that this is a long weekend, finally have time to do some stuffs. Uploaded a few designs for a competition, been a while since I really used my brain.. haha. A macbook air definitely sounds like a good motivation =D Well, do take a look here & vote~

I love films!
An expensive but nonetheless satisfying hobby. Brought 4 rolls to develop & scan to cd cost me $46! Was quite disappointed when I realized that the lab did not print them out due to some lack of communication anyway. But well, saves me the trouble of scanning them.
The thing I love about films is that you get to see the results developed out in print first, unlike digital photography - just transfer everything into the computer. But of course, everything has its pros & cons. People like me who take so long to finish 1 roll would have all the pictures totally outdated by the time they are developed, haha.
Below are some of my faves from the different sets. Love the vivid colors of cross-pro & vignettes~ Warning: image-intensive.
Place: HortPark & Henderson Walk
Cam: Holga & Vivitar UWS
Film: Fuji Provia 100F, Fuji Velvia 100 (if I'm not wrong), Kodak Ektachrome 100Plus
Pretty sunflowers!
Shoe pot~
A pair of red chairs

Place: Vivocity harbour & Batam
Cam: Vivitar UWS
Film: Fuji Velvia 100 (can't remember..)
The seemingly endless pole

Place: Bangkok
Cam: Vivitar UWS
Film: Kodak Ektachrome 100Plus

F1 actions
Been trying to blog hours ago but had my eyes totally glued to the TV set from the start of the F1 Singapore Grand Prix race. I wasn't even a fan of such stuffs, until that day I was out with my sis at Bugis & heard the engines of the cars. Damn excited, felt like going down to watch the finals then.. but no tickets, haha.
Anyway, thought that the race was great, damn exciting. Too bad Lewis Hamilton didn't win, but still did well though. Haha, I'm a newly converted F1/Lewis Hamilton fan now. Even went to ClubSNAP forums to see those shots the photographers took. Some of the shots are really damn cool. Maybe I should get the ticket the next time round... haha.

Batam getaway
Went to Batam for a weekend getaway with my colleagues on 12 July. Finally managed to get all the pics since there were like so many sets of cameras, haha. Too bad the trip was really short.. but still enjoyable with them around =)
Breakfast at Vivo before departure

Arrival at Batam

Waiting to check-in at the hotel lobby
The normal group pic (12 of us!)
Craziness!
Manicure session
On the way to the seafood restaurant

Dinner-time!
Night-time activties - lazing around & spa
Had to leave around noon time the next day, so just went to the nearby mall & did some last minute shopping.

Waiting to check-out
On the way to Batam's jetty

Before going back to SG
I still haven't develop the pics from the Vivitar, argh. I am seriously too lazy. Why can't the labs nearby do x-pro? Then I wouldn't have to go all the way down to Bugis.. blah.

Music-Man & Lee Guitars
Biggest surprise
My colleagues from JE got me a Gucci bag for my birthday! Can't imagine how shocked I was when I heard it. I always thought one day I'll get one when I saved up enough money, but this first is actually a gift! Anyway, I know it's not cheap & felt bad that they had to spend so much on it, I'm really not used to expensive gifts. Really appreciate it a lot, a huge thanks to them! It's nice to know that they appreciate the things I had done, although sometimes I might not do it willingly, lol. But actually, appreciation doesn't have to come in such an expensive form =)

Very nice bag!
