F1 actions

Been trying to blog hours ago but had my eyes totally glued to the TV set from the start of the F1 Singapore Grand Prix race. I wasn't even a fan of such stuffs, until that day I was out with my sis at Bugis & heard the engines of the cars. Damn excited, felt like going down to watch the finals then.. but no tickets, haha.

Anyway, thought that the race was great, damn exciting. Too bad Lewis Hamilton didn't win, but still did well though. Haha, I'm a newly converted F1/Lewis Hamilton fan now. Even went to ClubSNAP forums to see those shots the photographers took. Some of the shots are really damn cool. Maybe I should get the ticket the next time round... haha.

Batam getaway

Went to Batam for a weekend getaway with my colleagues on 12 July. Finally managed to get all the pics since there were like so many sets of cameras, haha. Too bad the trip was really short.. but still enjoyable with them around =)

2 concerts in November! Madness! Lee Hom's Music-Man on 1st Nov & Lee Guitars (featuring 五月天!) on 29th Nov.. I think November's going to be a happy month~ =D 好期待!

Biggest surprise

My colleagues from JE got me a Gucci bag for my birthday! Can't imagine how shocked I was when I heard it. I always thought one day I'll get one when I saved up enough money, but this first is actually a gift! Anyway, I know it's not cheap & felt bad that they had to spend so much on it, I'm really not used to expensive gifts. Really appreciate it a lot, a huge thanks to them! It's nice to know that they appreciate the things I had done, although sometimes I might not do it willingly, lol. But actually, appreciation doesn't have to come in such an expensive form =)

To-do list

1. Finish up the 5 exposures left in my holga
2. Get the rolls of film (4 including the 1 still in the holga) developed
3. Get a Flickr pro account
4. Upload & organise my photos

Lol.. hopefully these will be done by this next week...

Sakae dinner

Met up with Yan on Mon for dinner at Sakae. Brought P80 out for its first shot. I find that the colors are not as rich as compared to my old Ricoh. Maybe I need to explore the cam more & 培养感情.. haha.





Received a parcel from overseas... it's from Pati~ So sweet of her to send the gift over. Thanks girl! It's amazing how we've known each other for so long & still keep in touch. Love u~

New gadgets

Went to Comex on Sun & got a Nikon P80. My sis & I shared to get it, borrowed some money from mum, got to return her when I get my pay, lol. I quite like the cam 'cause it's black & looks like a mini DSLR. Will post up pics taken with the cam soon.





Ordered the refurbished Ipod Classic & it was delivered when I was still in Bangkok. Thanks a lot to my colleagues (the main sponsors, lol) for this birthday gift.. hehe. I still find it very not user-friendly. Maybe I wasn't an Apple user all along, so find it very difficult to use the functions.

Supper at Mac

Met up with the girls last week for supper at the Mac near Yan's house. Had a great time chilling out. Brought my new glasses out... no more perfect eyesight for me >.< Oh well... I like black framed glasses though =)
